Formula Drift's Fastest Growing Star

Jonathan didn't find himself behind the wheel of a drift car setup until the age of 20. This was after attending his first Formula Drift event as a fan, and he said “I am going to do that!”. He went home from that event, started building a car, and the Cash Racing team began it’s journey.

In 2017, Jonathan earned his Formula Drift ProSpec license and began competing in the Formula Drift series. By 2020, in just 3 short years, he finished 2nd overall in the ProSpec division, which qualified him for the Pro Series.

Jonathan decided to make the leap into the Formula Drift Pro ranks, finishing in the top half of the grid in both 2021 & 2022. The 2023 season started with an amazing 4th place finish in Long Beach after beating some of FD’s premier drivers. Jonathan was poised for a Top 10 finish going into the season finale in Irwindale, CA, but ended with a respectable 14th place overall after an unfortunate engine failure.

In 2024, our goal is to keep pushing forward, land on the podium, and finish in the Top 10! Ultimately, Jonathan’s goal is to continue racing with his team and become the Formula Drift Pro Champion!
